I always encourage learners to do their best, work hard and obtain more than they believe they can. I’ve taught senior and junior learners, so I have experience in both foundation phase, senior phase and FET phase.

My undergraduate studies involved courses in literature and language, both in English and German. When I matriculated in 2014, I also obtained distinctions for both these subjects. As a Masters student in Anthropology, I now spend the vast majority of my time on academic writing: playing with theoretical texts, producing ethnographic tracts based on fieldwork. A curiosity about language and the many ways in which one can use it is central to my studies.

I have 7+ years of experience tutoring English at all levels other than University or College. I have a proven track record of helping students improve their grades by at least 20% in 3 months. I completed high school with an 82% grade for English.

I have English on Third Year level at University and specialised in Shakespearean Literature and Creative Writing. I have also been teaching English for the past 5 years including grade 12’s and have also marked Grade 12 final examinations for the last 3 year

I have always had a love for reading, as well as delving into and writing my own poetry. I thus enjoy showing learners the world behind words and punctuation. For learners who struggle with abstract thought, I am able to describe even the works of Shakespeare in a more understandable way for the more technical minded.

I have used English as a language of communication in all my education life and I have more than 10 experience teaching English. During my teaching experience, I have managed a pass mark of not less than (95%). i have the ability and experience to identify and address the unique needs of learners to enable them to achieve the best possible results.

I excelled in English in my matric and my writing has been exceptional in university. I enjoy literature and my spoken, reading and English speaking skills are excellent. I love teaching and have actually tutored English before and I believe I will excel.

I majored in English at the University of Pretoria whilst completing my BA Languages degree. I also went on to study English literature during my Honours year in Afrikaans. I think precisely because English isn't my home language, but a mastered second language, I can help both the second language speaker and the first language speaker. I find that English in primary school is about comprehension, whilst English is high school tests your writing and communication skills. I can help students master both comprehension, and communication and writing skills because my degree requires both.

English is a language that is beautiful and full of potential. I was raised by an English Professor and I have inherited his love and enthusiasm for the subject. Whether you need help with understanding the sometimes complicated poems or setworks, whether it's the language paper and comprehension that has you stumped, or whether it's the dang creative writing and essay aspect you're struggling with, I'm your guy! I received 88% in English in matric and have been tutoring the subject for 7+ years.

I am an education editor for an internationally accredited higher education institution, and I have former experience in lecturing English and Philosophy to both first and second/foreign language students. I received training and have teaching experience in both Australia and South Africa. My current full-time job comprises improving the standard of learning material for our students from both a language and pedagogical perspective, and my passion in life is to positively contribute, in any way possible, to students' learning experience. I have also worked as a writing instructor at a writing lab and have spent many hours helping students develop better writing strategies and skills on both school and university level.
