I am an inquisitive and hardworking young lady with a passion to assist others to indulge in the beautifully spoken language of English, to encourage learners to excel in English and to teach my students how to professionally speak English. I approach every task with a smile and love meeting new people with a hunger to deepen their understanding of the English language.

I got a distinction in English in Grade 12 and have experience in tutoring English. I am patient and will re-explain until the learner understands the work. I love reading and always give my all in everything I do. I completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Education in 2019.

The more you learn about a language, the better you will be able to use it. For 30+ years, I have been an educator, specialising in English and Dramatic Arts. I also work as a freelance writer and copy editor. All of this means that I will be able to help you to learn how to use English effectively in all contexts.

I believe the key to English is the fundamentals and understanding basic language and literature rules. I was fortunate enough to have an amazing English in High School who taught me all of these skills of which I would now like to pass on and help another student learn.

I have tutored a grade 10 in 2020. We focused on unprepared reading, discussion, language and poetry. I am currently tutoring a grade 11. I helped a grade 8 transfer from an Afrikaans CAPS syllabus school to an English speaking IEB school midway through 2020, this included tutoring him English.

I am fluent in English. Although it is not my native language, my English competence is equivalent to that of a native English speaker. I had English as a Home Language at school, studied English at university level and I also specialized in English teaching. I'm creative, so I make learning fun. I have several years of experience as an English teacher at an independent school.

I adapt my way of teaching to each students need. I will approach a problem from every angle until we find a way for you as student to understand the subject. I will work through your work with you until you are comfortable to try it alone.

I am a native English speaker with a huge passion for literature. English was my favourite subject since primary school. I enjoyed reading literature and doing English language. I also enjoy reading and read daily.

I love languages and have a great passion for it. I have experience in English Grade 4 -7, as I have been teaching English for the past 7 years. I enjoy reading books, and therefore Literature is where I am able to share my love for reading you.

I have always been gifted with languages and during my high school and university career I have excelled at English. I have experience tutoring this subject and an abundance of resources to help students achieve their goals.
