English Language and Literature tutors in Gauteng

Throughout high school I was regularly one of the top performers in the english class and will be able to help with anything from setwork readings to grammar and vocabulary activities. My results were generally high 70s and above. I have a passion for reading and writing, and as such, feel that I can provide a lot of assistance to those who need it. I attended a private IEB highschool, and a government primary school, so I have a good idea of what is expected from the different schooling systems.

I did very well in English Language and Literature in my IGCSE exams and will be able to help high school students in this subject. I got an A* for English Language (top in my grade) and a B for English Literature.

I have experience with teaching and tutoring young children.I also have a TEFL teaching certificate. I also grew up in a bilingual home and am fluent in Afrikaans and English.I have always loved to read and am passionate about English. I also had English literature as a module in varsity, thus obtaining a varsity level of English.

Throughout my years in high-school, I've learnt all there is to know for you to master the English subject. I've achieved a distinction for English in my matric year with not only hard but also smart work. With my expertise, skill and patience, I will be able to help you not only improve on your weaknesses, but also help you build your strengths. The key to your success is having fun! Yes learning English can be fun! Learning the language part will take time and literature starts with your set work once thats out of the way, we can work on what you find difficult and find ways of improving and growing your knowledge. I will provide pass papers, notes and short yet effective sessions to guide you on your English journey to that A symbol we all want.
