English is my mother tongue and I am very skilled in languages. I have a vast variety of resources to aid in learning. I have access to current curriculum. I make learning fun and exciting, using a variety of methods that are tailor made to suit your individual needs.

I excelled in this subject from primary school to matric. I love the language, and I have experience in teaching it (been tutoring English with a volunteer programme since February 2018). In addition to this, I have minored in linguistics in my degree - this has taught me how one acquires language, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, and has expanded my knowledge on language rules and structure.

I have completed my higher certificate in 2015 and achieved higher distinctions by the end of it for the subject in question. I have also tutored this subject on many levels and have had no failures yet and all my students are achieving more than 60% in said subject.

I have an excellent command of the English language with years of creative and technical writing experiences. I can assist you with your writing, comprehension, and literature skills. I am passionate about the language and will teach you the tricks needed to succeed.

I have always loved English, it was one of my favorite subjects in high school and I believe that my passion for the subject an help ignite a passion for it too in those who struggle with the subject. I believe it helps not only with communication but also assists with a way of thinking and developing logic.

English is my first language and I took English to a first year level at UP. In high school I got 89% for English and I have always enjoyed reading and writing. I have written articles for activism groups at my university, and I have an interest in literature.

I have four and a half years of experience tutoring English to high school students at different levels and I also hold a Diploma qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). Furthermore, English was always a strong point of mine at school.

I love English. I came top of my grade for English in my finals and have always had a passion for the beautiful language. Doing well in English is about having the right attitude towards the work and knowing how the moderators want the questions to be answered.

Grade 3 - Grade 9 I received distinctions for English, participated in various English competitions, and I partake in advanced level english. I have previously tutored a student English, and raised her mark by 5%. I also have all my previous tests and work in this subject from Grade 5 to Grade 9, which will be helpful for the student to practice and be exposed to different exam type questions.

Of my 1100 hours of one-on-one private tuition, 220 were for English. I am familiar with GDE, IEB, and UK syllabi. I have over 100 hours of experience preparing Grade 11 and Grade 12 students for SATs which included working on their essay. I am often assigned contracts to proof-read for command of language.
