English Language and Literature tutors in Soweto

I have a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and English Literature, as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Education specialising in teaching English as a first and a First Additional Language. As well as over 5 years experience teaching ages ranging from 5-22, and experience teaching students with absolutely no proficiency in English (second language users in China) to students at first year University level (first year linguistics students at the University Currently Known as Rhodes).

I am Ntokozo Nkosi a part time student in UNISA. I have been a student since 2013. I obtained a certificate in Adult Basic And Education and I am currently doing BEd, it's my second year this year. I have a skill of capturing student's interest in learning by providing them training, support and guidance. I am also able to establish a two-way communication that empowers students to enjoy the learning process.

I am a mother to a 7 year old girl. I am engaged. I am was awarded best female teacher in September 2016 to October 2017 nominated by the learners. I got an opportunity to travel to USA: Chicago in a community called Hinsdale and spent a month in on of the high schools called Hinsdale Central as a student teacher through a program called Teach with Africa and Global Teachers Institute. I attended and observed their English classes and World culture classes. I am very involved in the Girls Club at my school, community work in Alexandra and Cultural activities: Gumboots dance and organizing school events.

I completed my secondary schooling in 2009 with distinctions in Business Studies and Economics. In 2015, I completed my Bachelor of Education (SFETP) (CUM LAUDE) from the University of South Africa, with 23 distinctions out of 40 modules. I majored in Psychology, English, Economics and Technology. After completing my degree, I got employment at the Gauteng Department of Education. For the past two years I have been teaching English, Life Orientation and Technology. In 2017, I graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Education with specialisation in Psycho-Educational Support. I am a member of the school's School Based Support Team (SBST). I am a Teacher Liaison Officer of the school. I work with Star for Life, a life skills organisation in the school.
