I am a Afrikaans teacher at a primary school. I am fluent in Afrikaans and am currently teaching a third language as a second language to children who are passing with pleasing results. Lessons are tailor made to suit your needs and I have a wide variety of resources available. Learning is fun and interactive with cute rhymes and pictures to easily understand the rules in Afrikaans as a language.

I excelled in this subject from primary school to matric. I love the language, and I have experience in teaching it (been tutoring Afrikaans since August 2018). In addition to this, I have minored in linguistics in my degree - this has taught me how one acquires language, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, and has expanded my knowledge on language rules and structure.

I have had experience teaching this subject and i have many resources to help my students, achieve their goals and better themselves. I have had many students pass this subject with me as well as get marks in the higher 80s but no student has failed with me thus far.

I have extensive experience in teaching, learning and tutoring Afrikaans as a second language at primary, secondary and tertiary levels. I enjoy the language and will teach you the foundations to ensure that you are equipped to succeed at it.

I was part of the top 1% for Afrikaans First Additional Language in the IEB system in Grade 12, with an average of 93%. I have experience in tutoring Afrikaans. I love asking questions so I completely understand the need to grasp the work. I am patient and will re-explain the work until the learner understands the work. I completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Education in 2019.

I am a bi-lingual student and i speak English and Afrikaans at a home language level.I can explain Afrikaans sentence structures etc in English to make it easier for students to understand. I achieved 85% in my Afrikaans final exams and i can help students achieve there goals by showing them what to focus on and how to approach answering questions in Afrikaans tests and exams

I am not an Afrikaans speaker but managed to get a distinction for the subject. Through the ability of breaking down questions that are frequently asked in exams and tests as well as explaining literature and poetry, I would be able to make the language easy to tackle and comprehend. I also have many resources which I used to learn the language that I would be more than willing to pass on and use with the learners I am teaching.

I am the best tutor for this subject because I achieved a very high result in high school and I am very passionate about this subject and therefore will encourage learners to be excited about the work they are doing.

I adapt my way of teaching to each students need. I will approach a problem from every angle until we find a way for you as student to understand the subject. I will work through your work with you until you are comfortable to try it alone.

I received distinctions for Afrikaans throughout my school. I can teach from Grade 3 to Grade 9 afrikaans. I am good at pronunciation and comprehensions. However grammar is where I excel best, and I have already tutored a student Afrikaans before. I also have all my previous tests and work in this subject from Grade 5 to Grade 9, which will be helpful for the student to practice and be exposed to different exam type questions.
