I love English especially poetry, back in High school I realised English was the only subject that I fully applied myself in. As i'm currently studying with UNISA , i'm also excelling at English and i'm learning more as I advance. Aspiring to be a writer myself , tutoring will not only benefit the students but me as an individual as well. I will be the best tutor for this subject because i'm motivated and ready , well prepared rather.

I have participated in multiple English Olympiads, achieving either Silver or Gold levels. I also achieved high marks in my matric results for the subject and have completed an Arts and Humanities course at university. I have also received prizes for competing in poetry competitions. In my free time, I write poetry and short stories.

I have a big passion for education, the English language and helping learners understand a concept that they are either missing or struggle to grasp. I believe there is a specific teaching style each learner needs and not a one-size-fits-all approach, which is lazy teaching. I love working with people. I am, also, a qualified FET educator.

I'm writer and fervant reader. This is a field that I ply my trade in. I believe I can bring creative methods to analysing text, such as making use of other mediums to easier understanding. I also achieved a 72% in Home Language English in 12th Grade.

My matric result for English was 80%. I have slow visual processing (which is a form of dyslexia) but I learnt how to dissect and accurately write essays. I did my Honours project (which is a mini thesis) on Taxation on Life Insurance Policies and got 70% for that . I placed 6th in the country for the Albert Luthuli Oral History Competition (which is a public speaking compitition).

I have been passionate about English since primary school. Growing up I loved to read and to express myself through creative writing. I am suited to tutor English for many reasons. I received As for English throughout school and majored in English Literature at Rhodes University. I chose to study at this University because of their top English and Humanities Faculties. Although I studied English academically and have a great understanding of English Grammar and Literature, I still thoroughly enjoy creative writing. Because of this, I have been able to put the theory I have learned to the test. Since my graduation in 2019, I have worked in advertising, doing copy-writing, editing and have authored a collection blog articles for brands across the spectrum. I am a creative thinker with the ability to view things from many perspectives. My teaching style is flexible and open - suited to your needs, strengths, weaknesses and current language ability.

I achieved a distinction at 94% for English in matric. I am a fourth year law student, which requires me to have a high level of English. I am very passionate in writing and I am currently writing and almost done with my first book being an autobiography

I love how the language is constructed and how poetry and writing conveys the mind of the writer. English is the business language and is required to be both written and spoken in a proficient manner. It is therefore very important i order to create a professional image as the words you speak and write are your advertisement of yourself.

I have a BA (Hons) English degree and have been teaching and tutoring English for 8 years. I have experience ranging from Grade 5 remedial students to adult EFL learners to university students for English literature and academic writing.

I love the English language, there's always something new and interesting to to learn about. It is also my home language and what I primarily speak in so communication alone is already a step forward when assisting with tutoring.
