English Language and Literature tutors in Gauteng

I am currently saving up to go study fine arts and art history. I paint and draw in my free time and also enjoy writing stories and poetry. I love reading and the dramatic arts. I am very interested in english literacy aswell. I work well with people and am very patient. I am a creative and visual thinker. I work as an au pair during the day and lived in America for two months working as an au pair.

I have a keen interest in Literature and the English language and I have always excelled in it. I'm an avid reader and received recognition for fastest reader at 500 wpm. I also have a poem published in the South African Book of Poetry and love writing up my own short stories.

Currently a student at the University of Pretoria Studying Biochemistry and Microbiology double major. Love animals. Great social skills and fluent in Afrikaans and English.

I have a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology (Wits). Psychology was my additional major. Therefore I have an excellent understanding of Biology (Human, Plant and Microbial), Chemistry (as Biochemistry was major component of my degree) but I also understand different personality types due to my Psychology background. Therefore my tutoring is usually centered around the type of individual I'm teaching. Regardless of the academic level of student, I always go back to basics when teaching any subject because I never know if the student might have a crack in their foundation that they aren't aware of. I tend to specialize in weaker students that are failing/are on the brink of failing that need help grasping the essence of the subject.   Unfortunately due to the fact that I work a full time job, I am only available on weekends to tutor.

In addition to the other subjects that I am passionate about, English is another subject. I find the subject extremely interesting and want to share my enjoyment for the subject with learners. Additionally, I am one assignment away from completing my TEFL Level 5 Diploma. Give me a chanced to show you how much fun English is.

I am currently a final year Bachelor of Pharmacy student at the University of the Witwatersrand. I love working with people, am extremely patient and a great communicator which I believe makes me an exceptional tutor. The subject areas that I am hugely passionate about and competent in are Life Sciences/Biology, Geography, English and Afrikaans (First Additional Language).

I am Andries Ndlovu, all the way from Mpumalanga in the village of Mgobode which is under the Nkomazi Municipality. However, I currently reside in Johannesburg. I have successfully completed my BA Journalism qualification at the University of Johannesburg. I do a lot of reading, writing and socializing so as to grasp sufficient information in order to have an understanding of various disciplines and assist others. Teaching have always been my passion and this is proven by the fact that I am currently registered with the University of South Africa for a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. With the sufficient understanding of the importance of education in contemporary society, I find it very fascinating and significant to assist others excel academically, especially the youth that defines the future of our country, South Africa.

My name is Danisile Skhosana. I am 28 years old and I have a passion for helping and adsisting others in whatever way I can. I work as a Sales representative for a medical company and this has helped me to gain a lot of skills in terms of interpersonal skills, communication skills and organizational skills. I am doing my final year in Business Administration at the University of South Africa. I completed my matriculation in the year 2007. I have previously worked as an Admin Officer at UNISA for 2 years and I am looking to expand my career.
