This was a 3-month secondment to Nedbank's Investment Banking(IB) Business unit. Here I managed dashboards that tracked the performance of IB's credit portfolios, reporting to the senior management on a weekly basis. I also managed the business-case forum's documentation and tracking the progress on deals in the bank's pipeline. I had daily interaction with balance sheet managememt and deal managers.
Business analyst role: assessing and implementing business cases to optimise payment operation processes. Reporting: writing MIS reports for senior Management. Writing reports to internal stakeholders at Nedbank, usually client facing business units. Writing and submitting reports to the South African Reserve Bank through our Exchange Control Compliance business unit.
Conducted a research project into the steam quality of steam produced at the Modderfontein plant and provided recommendations to senior engineers. This entailed tracking steam-lines and comparing to existing process charts, refining process charts and performing thermodynamic analyses of steam production and transport.
Training in boiling-maker skills such as welding, drilling, threading and bending. Conducted design of mechanical coupling for the transportation of nitrate liquids from tank to truck.

I have an Honurs degree in Mechanical Engineering, making the Dean's List on 2 years consecutively. Beyond technical prowess, I believe my communication skills allow me to unpack difficult topics to digestable fundamentals. I tutored my classmates in 12 grade and 1st year (informally of course). Then I tutored formally in my 3rd year in which tutored 2nd Year Engineering Mathematics under the employ of Wits University. Wits University hired me once more to tutor 2nd Year Mechanical Engineering Design and 1st Year Physics.

I'm writer and fervant reader. This is a field that I ply my trade in. I believe I can bring creative methods to analysing text, such as making use of other mediums to easier understanding. I also achieved a 72% in Home Language English in 12th Grade.
