I obtained 85% for maths in high school, studied calculus in University and have a chemical engineering degree which helps me to understand problems, and in turn how to solve them. I also have a 1+ years of teaching/tutoring experience.

I passed mathematics with a distinction in grade 12 and it was one of my favorite subjects. I have also had alpha mathematics and mathematics up to first year of university giving me a deeper understanding of the subject.

A part of my degree was taking a module in primary school mathematics. I have learnt an array of methods to calculate various problems as well as appropriate methods to present the subject matter. Mathematics is something we use in our daily lives, so I believe it is important to set a proper foundation.

I am an experienced, warm and friendly tutor who teach students with understanding, skill and patience. Teaching Mathematics is one of my strongest aptitudes. My results with previous students: 10-20% improvement within one term to one year and some students improved with up to 40%.

I am analytical, logical and precise. I majored in Actuarial Science ,Statistics and Financial Mathematics in University. I passed both my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, cum laude. I also completed six Master level statistics modules at Wits university. In addition to a solid theoretical understanding I also have practical experience having made use of my statistical and mathematical knowledge during a career in equities trading.

I believe that achieving a high mark in an IEB school and going on to do(and pass) Engineering Maths at the University of the Witwatersrand gives me the edge and further strengthens my understanding of the subject as a whole. I believe in structure, as it gives us a clear indication of what must happen and how. Mathematics is a perfect example of this and I thrive in such an environment.

I am very passionate about mathematics and i can easily explains terms and problems more understable than in most textbook. And since i was an average learner, i know how to explain terms in such a way it makes sense to those who don't understand the subject and its content. I obtained symbol A and also obtained my degree in Mechanical Engineering

I received commendable results in matric for mathematics (74%) and have been tutoring mathematics to younger students for 2 years. As a result, I believe I am highly experienced in helping students, particularly below grade 10 level, in grasping the basic concepts of mathematics and helping them enjoy the subject.

I loved Maths when I was still in school,I love working with Numbers,Math only gets harder in school and I myself struggled when in High school and would never want any child to feel as helpless as I did.
