I am an experienced, warm and friendly tutor who teach students with understanding, skill and patience. Whether my student is English or Afrikaans, I tutor Maths fluently in both languages and am qualified with a BSc Mathematics degree. For the past 11 years I had my own High School tutoring business in the Port Elizabeth area and excel in applying teaching techniques and fulfilling teaching objectives with students at various levels of ability. I am well experienced in breaking down complex Mathematical concepts to understandable concepts in a creative manner. It is important to me to see students progress, have a positive attitude towards Mathematics and successfully reach their goal for the subject. Teaching Mathematics is one of my strongest aptitudes. My results with previous students: 10-20% improvement within one term to one year and some students improved with up to 40%. Remember to not postpone too long – Mathematics takes a lot of practice and in most cases starting ‘earlier’ is the best option for you to be able to obtain good results / your desired result.

Responsibilities towards each subject (in different semesters): Probability, Distribution Theory and Estimation: Presented tutorials to students in the subject and marked their tutorials. Regression Analysis and Advanced Regression topics: Marked the written tutorials in the subject.
