General Maths & Science tutors in Gauteng

Maths and Science are two of my strongest passions. I have learned to master them and eventually made a career of them as a young Chemical Engineer. I will teach and guide you to mastering the key foundations so that you too can make succeed in them.

As a mother of primary schoolers and the advantage of being a passionate scientist, I take pride in laying the foundation of the love and understanding of maths and sciences. It's important to motivate young minds and remove the notion that maths and science are too hard for them to do.

I will try my best to get down to the student's level, to explain things in a simple and concise way and to help students practise and remember their work. I struggled with Maths in high school and only developed a love for it at University due to a wonderful teacher. Therefore, I know where all the pitfalls are and can help students navigate through them.

I believe any child can do maths or science! I believe it should be fun, especially at primary school level with lots of pictures and different colours. Creativity should be part of the learning process. I have a lot of patience I will explain as many times as it takes!

I am studying engineering at university and I have enough knowledge to help high school students. I believe that the way maths was taught to me in high school, was a see this do this because it says so. But I want students to know why they are doing what they are doing. I want students to become curious and ask why?

I have a great deal of experience tutoring students in this subject at the University of Pretoria and the surrounding High schools. Mathematics is my strong point and I love to help students to unlock their potential.

After studying IT , i have came to realization of how Mathematics and Science are fundamentals and core knowledge factors that affect our day to day lives. I believe, with this kind of exposure, it would make it easy for me to share my knowledge with everyone from all different backgrounds.

I have excelled at mathematics in both high school (97% for NSC Matric, 2016) and in university and I hope to help you to do the same. I have kept all of my study notes and study guides in order to help you in every way that I can.

I have proven myself to beat the odds against subjects that seem impossible and beyond to conquer when I was in high school. So me having some experience and knowlegde in the field, I can try to help other student is who are struggling and going through the same path I went, when I was trying to get better marks. This will be helpful in understanding and improving the system of teaching regarding in how teachers teach certain subjects as I believe new ways and other alternatives are available for students who cannot function in such turmoil. So me teaching and learning is best way I can improve so that can others who are struggling in it

I love teaching mathematics and science. I can teach physical sciences as well as biology. I am really strong in my math and believe that I have mastered the art of teaching mathematics. I know a lot of short cuts and know how to make math a lot easier!
