Methembe G - Tutor in Johannesburg
I Methembe Gingqi have been tutoring for the past three years. I have tutored both privately and for various tutoring organisations. The subjects which I specialise in are core Maths, Physical Sciences, Geography and Biology. I believe in my capabilities especially due to my background as a learner in an IEB private school(Domino Servite Combined Private School) based in KwaZulu Natal. I also believe that in order to be a great tutor one needs to have good communication skills, reasoning and the ability to explain complex concepts in a simplified manner. Although I'm currently doing my third year in BSc Chemical Engineering(Wits University), I have a passion for teaching as it gives me great pleasure to see someone understand a concept they previously struggled with. I believe that I can have a positive impact in growing the Turtle jar brand and achieve more success by doing my job.

My days consist of getting up at 5am in the morning, going to gym for an hour, having breakfast, showering, attending lectures from 8am to 1:15pm(varies), travelling to whichever client has me booked from 3-5pm for tutoring and finally heading home for a little rest and fun with my close friends and family.

BSc Chemical Engineering(completed 3rd year) - Wits University
I matriculated from an IEB private school(Domino Servite Combined Private) and am currently doing my third year in BSc Chemical Engineering at Wits University. I believe in brainstorming together with my learner in order to develop a plan on how we'll achieve the learner's goals and finally executing with hard work, passion and dedication. I've been tutoring mainly Maths and Physics for the past three years both privately and for various tutoring companies. I believe the experience that I've acquired in this field makes me a more than suitable tutor to any student that wants to improve their current mark or academic situation.

I believe that achieving a high mark in an IEB school and going on to do(and pass) Engineering Maths at the University of the Witwatersrand gives me the edge and further strengthens my understanding of the subject as a whole. I believe in structure, as it gives us a clear indication of what must happen and how. Mathematics is a perfect example of this and I thrive in such an environment.

Geography
This subject was one of my favorite subjects back in high school. I believe this was due to its simple and definitive nature, this suited me well as I am a fan of structure. I find geographical concepts easy to understand and equally so in terms of explaining them. I believe with hard work, great communication and discipline we can help any student achieve greater success in their studies.

Physical Science
I have experience tutoring Physics for the past three years. The results I achieved with my previous clients is a testament to my ability to teach this subject. Again(one shouldn't start a sentence with an adverb but I will), I believe having gone to an IEB school and done well in Physics both at school and in first year of BSc chemical engineering, puts me in a position where I can share this knowledge with fellow learners. I love teaching, I think that's a good enough reason on it's own.
