Mathematics tutors in Centurion

I love mathematics, I am studying Aeronautical Engineering at Tuks. My teaching methods involve teaching maths in the simplest form possible, how to approach different questions and to find the method that best suits you.

I have a keen base understanding of grade 8 and 9 mathematics. It is my belief that in order to excel at maths, one needs to have a strong foundation in the subject, meaning one needs to master the basics. I would thus be able to ensure that students grasp mathematics by simplifying the content in such a way that it is easy for them to master.

I have always been attracted to mathematics. I have never gotten below 80% for mathematics in high school as well as in grade 11 I received 100% for mathematics in term 1 and 3 and in matric I received 99% for the first term. As well as received a distinction in the final exam.

I enjoy Mathematics, especially figuring out what method works for which individual as we all have different learning abilities. I have been teaching Math Grade 4 - 7 for the past 7 years, and I have realized that each individual deserves the attention they need to understand and enjoy Math.

Many scholars struggle with this subject & a lot of the time it's because of a missed concept from previous grades. I am patient enough to go back to what I call the math "foundations" to recognize where problem areas & from there work on more complex problems

Mathematics is the best subject to teach, it helps students to be able to think fast and to understand most of the things in the world. When you know mathematics, nothing can be difficult for you in this life.

I find fun and easy ways to make you understand. Math isn't the enemy. Its all about practice. Mathematics is one of my favorite subjects and I find it interesting to teach and it satisfies me when I am able to pass that knowledge to my students.

In 2016, I matriculated with a Mathematics average of 93%. In 2019, I completed my BSc. degree with distinction, majoring in Chemistry, Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. I am currently busy with my Educational studies. I have an extreme passion for Mathematics. My Maths subject knowledge stretches from school, to three years of higher Mathematics in university. Mathematics should not be memorized, it should be understood. Through my years of studying, as well as experience in tutoring, I have mastered the ability to use YOUR OWN way of learning to grasp mathematical concepts. I have a broad foundation of subject knowledge, and I am busy obtaining knowledge of Educational methods, as well as curriculum studies. I won't teach you my way of thinking and solving problems, I will use your way and build on that. My ultimate goal is to make you the best version of you that you can do. Everybody has the ability, we just need to find and cultivate it.

I have a keen interest in mathematics. I would say its a hobby of mine. I preform well in the university mathematics subjects. Especially in linear algebra and calculus. I make sure that students understand the core concepts being taught. I also have a few years experience teaching math.
