I am able to tutor primary school mathematics as during my years in primary school I always obtained an A for mathematics. I also took mathematics as an elective course during my first two years of university.

In my primary level Math was not an easy subject for me. Until I got to High School where I had the best Math teachers who changed my perspective on Math. Ever since I've excelled in Math, scoring an A in my finals, only because Math became fun and easier. I do the same with my students, I make Math fun and easier.

I thoroughly enjoy Mathematics and have produced good marks for the subject. Furthermore, I am doing it at varsity level as well which has given me a more in depth understanding of the subject. Lastly, I have some experience as a Mathematics tutor and so this is a comfortable space for me. I am also patient and a good listener. I'm also creative which in this space means that I'm open to exploring different teaching methods if they help the student better understand the concepts.

I have always enjoyed Mathematics. I love the fact that there's always a definite destination but there are so many different ways of getting there. Maths is creative in it's own (sometimes challenging) way. I want to be able to help others to find the 'joy of Maths' and to improve their performances. I understand that Mathematics is a gateway subject to many other subjects and career paths and, as such, it is important to build up one's capabilities early on. I am aware that Maths is sometimes viewed as a difficult subject, but I believe that a positive attitude, patience and perseverance can make all the difference.

I have great understanding of the requirements. I know what the learners struggle with and because of the experience can deal with each child according to the needs and individuality. I have worked with learners of different abilities and they greatly achieved their potential.

I am studying engineering which involves intense math modules. During my high school career, I studied mathematics and advanced programme math and received 90% and 88% for each subject respectively. I have also received distinctions for all my math modules at university. Apart from my academic results, I have a deep passion for mathematics and enjoy sharing this knowledge with others in need of it.

I too had to do Mathematics as a student. I know the ins and outs of how to do well because I understand how challenging it can be. With enough guidance and practice, Maths won't be so daunting and can even be fun!

For 12 years of teaching statistics & mathematics at many levels, from Calculus courses to teaching Business Calculations, Calculations & Statistics and Quantitative techniques and Finance, as a Lecturer, a Teaching Assistant and as Tutor, I have been constantly learning and gaining experience as to what makes an effective and a polished practitioner of the craft.

I was a mathematics tutor for the western cape matrics in 2017. I have a good math average from high school and I am able to do university level mathematics quite comfortably. I think I have the patience and knowledge to help student with math.

I have a huge passion for Mathematics. I had received distinctions for Mathematics my entire school career (above 90%) until matric where I was not required to get such a high mark to get into my degree. I am in my 3rd year of Aeronautical Engineering and have therefore done a lot of Mathematics since school which forced me to learn more simplified ways of looking at Mathematics which would have made my school Mathematics a lot easier.
