I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at St Dunstan's College and believe I learnt a great amount from my time there. In my final year at the school, I was appointed as Head Girl as well as the head of various societies. I believe that these positions put me in good stead as a leader as well as a communicator and listener. I achieved three distinctions in my final year, namely music, history and english, wherein I was placed in the top 1% of IEB learners. Along with this, I achieved 4 high 70s - namely AP english (77%), mathematics (74%), LO (78%) and business studies (76%).
I am currently a second year student at Stellenbosch University. I am studying BA Law, with plans to major in economics. In addition to the law modules prescribed in the course, my electives were english, political science and economics in first year. In second year, my electives are political science. I have excelled in my electives and am on track to receiving commendable results for my second year. I am very passionate about all the modules I am currently studying and believe they have helped mould my worldview.
I received commendable results in matric for mathematics (74%) and have been tutoring mathematics to younger students for 2 years. As a result, I believe I am highly experienced in helping students, particularly below grade 10 level, in grasping the basic concepts of mathematics and helping them enjoy the subject.

I received a distinction for history in matric, and have always been in love with the subject as well as the skills it equips you with. I believe I am qualified to assist in the learning of this subject as I have great knowledge on how to construct essays for history as well as how to do source analysis.

I matriculated in 2018 within the top 1% of IEB candidates for English, receiving over 90% for the subject. Aside from this, I partook in AP English from grade 10 until matric and did English as an elective module in my first year at university, passing with distinction. I believe I have a strong hold on the English language and will be able to pass this on to other students. I look forward to working with you!
