I have 4 years experience teaching. I am a qualified teacher who graduated with a cum laude. I have been a tutor during my years as a student therefore I have more than 5 years experience tutoring maths. I have set exams and tests therefore I tutor with a purpose as I understand the assessment standards for a child to pass.

Math is a tool I use every time I solve physics problems. I'm very passionate about teaching this subject. I make it easier for students to grasp and make use of it to solve even problems in other fields of study

Maths has always been my favourite subject. I have always found ways to make it enjoyable and many tricks to remembering the rules. I enjoy teaching all areas of Maths and graduated Matric with a distinction in Maths.

I took pure mathematics up to matric, and passed it well. As I have more than just an understanding of mathematics, but also a passion for mathematics I feel as though I am able to motivate learners to excel in mathematics. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Education degree, which equips me with the right skills to teach in a manner that is both understandable and fun.

I am currently a Mathematics teacher achieving best results and I would like to assist students to improve and do even better in the subject. With my passion for numeracy and mathematical problem solving I would like students to remove the mentality that Mathematics is a difficult subject.

I love problem solving and since high school i got distinctions on the mathematics and i have been doing the tutoring for 5years and its been a wonderful experience for me in 2015 iwas peer tutor for mathematics and science for the group called math group and as after matric i used to volunteer doing tutoring at secondary schools

I have always had a knack for numbers. However, not all mathematics aspects came easily to me at school. This means that I know how to persevere and put in the work required to see the marks you want. I completed both Core Mathematics as well as AP Maths at Matric level and completed first year statistics at university level.

I completed my engineering degree in 2018 and I have a passion for numbers! I teach Maths by trying to simplify difficult concepts and try to use many different approaches to teaching. I believe that anyone can do Maths if they have a good teacher and problems are practiced!

I appreciate that most frequently, students struggle with Mathematics out of anxiety and a poor structure of understanding. My tutoring style aims to address these particular issues in addition to providing a source of knowledge. In 2019 alone, I tutored over 100 hours of Mathematics subjects at university, whether as a classroom assistant or in private tutoring. In addition, I have experience informally tutoring high school students.

I hold a doctorate in Mathematics, a post-graduate teaching diploma and I am SACE registered. I am a dedicated, passionate teacher. I have taught students who have achieved top results in South Africa and in the world for Cambridge and South African Mathematics courses. I am comfortable tutoring in person or online. I begin tutoring from basics and cover topics thoroughly by passing through various learning levels. With my experience, I am able to uncover students' barriers to understanding and am able to find unique personalised ways of explaining complicated concepts. I provide plenty of practice, reinforcement, and enrichment related to the topics being covered.
