I breakdown various mathematics concepts to a level that a students will understand. I hold a Bcom Honours in Economics from University of Johannesburg and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from CIDA City Campus. From University days I am passionate about sharing knowledge with others so that they can better understand various academic concepts. This year I had an opportunity to tutor a UNISA student in Financial accounting and they got a distinction. It gives me great satisfaction to see students understand what they are studying as that empowers them excel

I am a data engineer and a qualified data scientist, I deal with stats on a daily basis. I believe this coupled with my passion for subject makes me the best candidate for the position. I also have a Business Science Degree, in which I have completed multiple modules on these subjects.

Mathematics literacy challenges one's understanding in everyday challenges that require mathematics to solve, enjoying maths and applying it to everyday life problems is a concept I find passion in. I am the best tutor for Mathematics Literacy as I believe it is a new and inventive way to challenge mathematical problems. I struggled with pure math as there was a lack of freedom on how you could solve the equations. In Maths Literacy I found that there was more freedom which created a less stressful environment, it allowed for creative minds to expand. I would love the opportunity to help other expand their minds and find new and inventive solutions to problems. I received a distinction for maths literacy in my final year and obtained excellent marks for the duration of my time in Maths literacy.

I did Mathematical Literacy in Grade 11 and 12. I enjoyed doing Mathematical Literacy and found it quite entertaining while I was doing it. I recieved a distinction for Mathematical Literacy in matric.

I am a third year student studying Bachelor of education at Witwatersrand, majoring in mathematics and science. My home language is Afrikaans and fluent in English as I study in English. With this I have 2 years of experience with great results.

I found this subject to be easy if the key concepts are explained properly. I achieved 89% for the subject in matric and tutored many of my classmates when they didn’t understand something. I think I can properly explain key concepts and teach this subject to students.
