When I was in high school I joined the peer tutoring program and have been tutoring maths ever since. I have tutored from grade 8 up to grade 12 and have also tutored first year calculus so I have 8 years of tutoring experience. I know how to break seemingly complex concepts down into simple blocks. I have spent a lot of time helping students regain confidence in their ability to do maths.

I have tutored Maths to children from grade 1 to grade 12 over the past 7+ years. I therefore have a lot of experience tutoring a wide range of students with a wide range of difficulties. I am confident that I can help you with yours! :) I enjoy making seemingly complicated topics understandable and interesting. I promise that Maths is less overwhelming once we break it down into more manageable pieces. I achieved 88% for Mathematics and a further distinction in Advanced Placement Mathematics in matric. So we've got this! :)

I have well practised mathematical skills and a natural aptitude for the subject. This allows me to teach an intuitive understanding of Maths and general problem solving skills as opposed to methods to simply answer the question. My Matric maths mark was 96% and I also received a distinction for AP Maths.

I loooove Mathematics so much that I even got a Distinction for it in Matric. We use it everyday in our basic reasoning and decision making. This is why I'm constantly brushing up my skills and always grabbing the opportunity to teach or assist someone with the subject.

I have exceptional experience in tutoring mathematics with over 10 years experience and a passion for numbers. I have experience in GDE , IEB and Cambridge curriculum. I am constantly learning as there will always be a new problem to figure out and a new way to convey a section over. There is no greater feeling when a student understands a section or realises they have potential to do great.

I have been tutoring Mathematics for over ten years. Part of my tertiary education was university level mathematics. I work in a scientific field, where math is an everyday occurence and am able to help explain and solve all manner of problems.

Over the years I have grown to love mathematics, up to the point where I have made it my field of study at university. I did, however, struggle with the subject at a stage but now, looking back, have realised that was because of the way how I was introduced to it. This is why I want to help others who might see math as a daunting subject to learn how to appreciate how simple it can actually be.

I have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria. I consistently achieved distinctions for Mathematics throughout high school. I also completed several Mathematics modules at University.

I have a huge passion for this subject. I understand it very well and i am good at explaining the process in which to solve a maths problem. I worked very hard in school and continue to so do. Although i do not do maths in my degree, by tutoring i manage to keep my brain fresh with mathematical concepts.

I have been tutoring Mathematics and Statistics for four years. I am currently doing my Honours in Mathematical Statistics. I have always thought of Mathematics as my favourite subject at school and I received a distinction for Mathematics in matric. I am also passionate about making students feel less confused and way more confident when it comes to doing maths and mathematics examinations. I believe that there is no such thing as: "I cannot do math", you just haven't been taught to do maths in a way that makes sense to you yet.
