Mathematics is one of my majoring subjects in Varsity. I have also taught 6th grade maths for 2 years and I loved learning with my students. I am very passionate about the subject and I always look for new ways to make my Maths class interesting. Im always searching for new methodologies in which to transfer information in a manner that it reaches the needs of my students. I reflect after every lesson, so that I can give my students the best version of me and so that I can improve my teaching skills.

I achieved an A+ for Mathematics in matric and also achieved a distinction for the Advanced Programme of Mathematics (as part of the IEB syllabus). I also achieved a distinction for mathematics in my first year of Computer Engineering

As a 3rd year Bcom Mathematical Science student I have encountered Mathematics in a variety of forms. I have also struggled and have a great deal of sympathy and patience for a student who is willing to cooperate in order to achieve their best results. In many occasions I have taught myself more about the subject by teaching other.

Firstly, I love Math! I took higher grade Math until grade 12 and received a distinction. I then completed a four year Civil Engineering degree. I am also an experienced teacher so assisting learners comes naturally to me. I do my best to make learning as exciting as possible and can't wait to teach you.

I am the best tutor for this subject because besides my academic achievements in Mathematics, I am passionate about the subject and helping others understand it. I have three years tutoring experience which has developed my skills in assisting all kinds of students.

I thoroughly enjoyed mathematics and took particular interest in topics like Alegebra, Exponents, Calculus, Number patterns, Functions, Geometry, Trigonometry etc. I managed to develop ways in high school to break down difficult concepts down into small understandable building blocks for the specific topic. Maths can be fun, trust me!

I have a knack for numbers, received an A for it at the end of matric and have tutored it before to high school students. My mother is a mathematics teacher for the primary school level and so I have discussed topics she teaches about with her and will be able to explain them well.

As an Engineer I have a deep understanding of core and advanced mathematical concepts. In high school I took Mathematics, Paper 3 and Advanced Programme mathematics and have built on this foundation through university where I have completed modules in Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Numerical Methods and other advanced Mathematics courses.

I got 93% in my matric final. I enjoy the subject (as hard as that may be to believe). I have a good understanding of the course work and I believe that I can at least teach it, if not grow the same love for maths in my student.

Having a degree in Actuarial Science and also a career in quantitative analytics, I have extensive mathematical knowledge. I have tutoring experience and I have the desirable soft skills; patience, understanding and structure to successfully tutor this subject.
