Maths is considered a difficult subject - but I think it's only difficult because the basics are not always taught effectively. When kids start to struggle and no one helps them to get maths right, they loose interest and consider themselves dumb. My brother was the one who helped me understand core principles behind maths. I believe it was because of his help that I always knew, that no matter how much I struggled, somehow I'd get to the solution. I would like to help other young kids to understand maths the same way.

I have 2 years' teaching experience in Grade 3 Mathematics and I am currently completing my Advanced Certificate in Foundation Phase Teaching. I enjoy Maths and can communicate concepts in a clear and friendly manner.

I have obtained 90% in Matric for Mathematics. I also studied Mathematics at university for the first 3 years of my studies. I have creative ways of explaining subject content such as games, quizzes and visual aspects.

Mathematisch was my favorite subject in school. I believe this subject is very important to life, as it helps you solve problems. It can be a big burden for some if they do not understand it’s ways, but once you unlock and find it’s understanding, you will love doing Maths, that is what I want to achieve by tutoring this subject.

I am the best tutor for this subject because I have engineering-level mathematics education and have previously tutored mathematics to high school students. I have also tutored high school mathematics to students with learning disabilities.

Mathematics is one of my favourite subjects and I believe all should be proficient in Mathematics as it is used in our daily lives and helps one to be an analytical and critical thinker. As a professional scientist, Mathematics is something I encounter everyday and I am able to make concepts easy to understand for students who are struggling.

I am currently a Maths teacher, so I know what learners who struggle with Math go through and I know how to help to get them where they need to be! I also have a lot of knowledge on how learners get assessed, therefore I will be able to prepare them for all formal assessments and tasks.
