My name is Shannon Davidson, I come from Pretoria, South Africa and matriculated at Carpe Diem Academy. I love teaching people new things and helping them reach their full potential. I have been living in Brazil for the past year and experiencing the great atmosphere Brazil has to offer. I have helped other English teachers with their conversation classes. Maths to me is not just a school subject, but a way of life and practical expression. I have been assisting struggling leaners at primary level for almost 6 years now. I'm studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pretoria (UP) and I have a year of experience teaching physics to first-year engineering students here at UP. Hello everyone! I'm Alex and I am currently a medical student at wits university. I am an avid cellist and love football, so academics were never a huge part of my life before I decided I wanted to become a doctor. At the time, I never thought I would be able to get the marks I needed to apply, but with a bit of hard -mostly smart- work, I was able to get in while keeping a healthy balance and continuing my music and football. I am civil engineer by profession. I hold a Master's degree in Civil Engineering Science. I have a passion for tutoring and transferring skills. I have been tutoring mathematics through out my career, started in High school tutoring classmates, tutored 1st year mathematics for two years in university, I continued tutoring even when I started working. Most of the students I tutored went on to study medicine, engineering, actuarial science, etc; some have graduated and are doing well in their respective careers. My aim is to assist you to understand the basics and equip you with the knowledge that will help you do self-study and self-learning in mathematics.
