I Graduated from Hoërskool Oos - Moot in 2018 with 3 Distinctions, and started studying a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Pretoria (UP). I am almost half way finished with my studies and I am planning to finish in 2023. I have been camo leaders at various youth camps, and my last job was being a IT technician at the UP Mining Study Centre. I will do well in tutoring, because Engineering has broadened m horizons and I always like to break up big task into small understandable and doable portions.

I have tutored Mathematics and Physical Sciences with Teach Out organisation at UCT for 2 years. It was an incredible experience as were voluntarily tutored students from disadvantaged communities such as Philippi and Khayelitsha in cape Town and I wish to continue with my passion in tutoring. I have also been tutoring with Teachme2 for over 3 years and have always had positive feedback from my students. When I relocated to Pretoria from JHB, my previous student called me and said she has changed about 4 tutors since I left and hasn't found another tutor to successfully replace me. I always aim to go above and beyond just the academics, I also offer career guidance and mentorship to my students free of charge.

It is my passion to teach languages - I have many years of experience teaching languages to all age groups. I adapt lessons to accommodate the reason why a person wants to learn a language - if only a basic foundation is needed for traveling, we focus on basic language skills, speaking and understanding of basic phrases and language structures. If fluency is the end goal, we take the slow route of getting acquainted with the foundations of the language and talking and reading as much as possible. I firmly believe that if a person enjoys the lessons, we are already on the road to success.
