I am a retired educator/HR Practitioner who had taught English, Afrikaans History and Mathematics for 26+ years to different grades, specifically from Grade 7 to Grade 12 (the previous Standards 5 to 10). I later entered the corporate world in the field of human resources, and I was in this profession as HR Manager for over 17 years. Furthermore, I was a part-time lecturer in Copywriting at the Open Window University of Arts (Centurion) for five months in 2013, and I am currently still free-lancing in the field of skills development as Skills Development Facilitator, Assessor and writer of outcomes-based training manuals. In terms of formal qualifications, I possess a 4-Year Diploma in Education, a B.A. degree in the humanities (with majors History and Afrikaans-Nederlands via the University of the Free State), a Certificate in Advanced Labour Relations (via the University of Pretoria), a Certificate in Hiring and Recruitment Practices (Unisa), a Certificate in Basic Bookkeeping (Damelin) and various skills development courses. I'm currently employed as an Accounts Supervisor for a cost consulting entity. I am also still validly registered as an educator with the South African Council of Educators (SACE). I have always been an educator at heart, and now, in my retirement, I still have the desire to transfer knowledge, skills and expertise to a younger generation.

I am an industrious tutor who takes responsibility and accountability for tutoring services offered .It is imperative for me to go an extra mile to ensure that my learners are successful and they understand the concepts in question.Above these attributes l am caring,adaptable,dedicated,determined,empathetic and resilient to mention a few.

I have a passion for teaching others and great patience. I try to change my teaching method for each individual.

I am Kabongo Noel Tshilumba, preferred name - Noel. I am a Theology Post-graduate (Honours Degree level) from the University of Pretoria. In high school, I majored on language (Modern and ancients). I throughout my personal education Parcours I have studied Latin, ancient biblical Greek, French and English. French is my native language and English is my professional language. I am quite fluent in both and as a result, I have landed numerous translation or interpretation job opportunities with various organisations. I did tutor french in the past and feel quite comfortable with subjects which relate to language and Biblical Theology. I am married to one wife and the father of a little boy.
