Hello everyone! I'm Alex and I am currently a medical student at wits university. I am an avid cellist and love football, so academics were never a huge part of my life before I decided I wanted to become a doctor. At the time, I never thought I would be able to get the marks I needed to apply, but with a bit of hard -mostly smart- work, I was able to get in while keeping a healthy balance and continuing my music and football. Anyone can achieve what they set their mind to with the right guidance and approach, one I hope I can help people to find.

I helped in designing questions and notes for students to prepare for their NBT exams. I started sourcing questions, changing values and wrote down questions I remembered from the actual exam just after I wrote it

Music was one of my favourite subjects at school and made my life easy when it came to understanding the music I was playing at a much higher level. I ended my high school music career with an 87% theory mark, something I am very proud of. I have written up to gr6 UNISA music theory exams and would love to be of help to students struggling with this subject.

In grade 11, I actually failed my mid-year exam, meaning I needed a ridiculously high mark to achieve an A grade. As a result, I studied the ins and outs of physics and chemistry. I achieved a 92% as a final matric grade for science.
