I have two years experience teaching English and loved every minute of it! My classes are fun and energetic and will get you loving English too. I do my best to make learning as exciting as possible and can't wait to teach you.

This subject was one of my favourite! I learnt many ways during school to best memorise English language rules and I was great at essay writing and speech writing. I was often asked to read my essay to the class and once asked to say my English speech in front of the whole school. I enjoyed learning this subject and enjoy teaching this subject because once you get the hang of the rules and the best ways of studying you can easily become an A student. I tutored a grade 9 in English home language and grade 11s in English and they saw great improvements in their results last year.

I practice how to truly listen to the needs of my students. I believe that teaching and learning happen in relationships. I have seven years' experience teaching English to students of all ages and levels. From beginners, through babies to doctoral students.

I have a knack for languages and even though English is my mother tongue, I love learning more about it. It was my favorite subject in school. Be it poetry, vocabulary, reading, creative writing, grammar and punctuation, I enjoy it all. Additionally, I have a TEFL qualification.

I have a strong understanding of the English language and of the subject requirements. I am an avid reader and I always achieved high marks for the subject. In Matric I received an English distinction with a mark of 88%.

I am an education editor for an internationally accredited higher education institution, and I have former experience in lecturing English and Philosophy to both first and second/foreign language students. I received training and have teaching experience in both Australia and South Africa. My current full-time job comprises improving the standard of learning material for our students from both a language and pedagogical perspective, and my passion in life is to positively contribute, in any way possible, to students' learning experience. I have also worked as a writing instructor at a writing lab and have spent many hours helping students develop better writing strategies and skills on both school and university level.

English FAL was one of my top subjects in high school, with reading, writing and presenting remaining a big part of my academic career. I pride myself at being able to choose words to suit the tone of a message or narrative and I think being able to articulate and convey ideas effectively remains important in any environment, be that in person or online. Poetry, literature, grammar and spelling are the tools to do exactly that: understand (feel) the nuances and tones in a written or spoken message and respond appropriately and effectively. Alongside helping with set curricula, I believe I can also convey a general feel of the language, which would help with performance in English as a formal subject.

I have studied First Language English at a private all-girls school from grade 0 through to grade 12. I studied English Literature for 4 years throughout university as it was one of my major subjects for my Bachelor's degree. I am trained as an English as a foreign language teacher and have taught children in Thailand for over a year. I also have online teaching and tutoring experience with children as well as adults. I am currently studying for a Post Graduate Certificate in Education online.

I am a graduate electrical engineer with great passion for success, career development and active learning. I have previous work experiences in electrical engineering and safety engineering. Having completed my postgraduate study last year at University of the Witwatersrand I have decided to tutor younger students and others who needed extra help. I am good at mathematics, general mathematics, information technology, sciences and in tutoring. I have good organisational, interpersonal, analytical, communication, problem solving, project management and negotiating skills. I am proactive, creative, energetic, business oriented and I pay attention to details. I also have good information and communication technology skills.

I have 2 years experience working as an English Teaching Assistant in France in both high schools and middle schools alike . I therefore have extensive experience teaching English as a second language to learners of all ages and levels. I have also been a private English tutor in South Africa working with the national syllabus.
