I am a passionate,creative and hard working individual who believes that the key to success is clear communication. I am eager to improve daily by learning new skills and improving existing ones. I am a humble teacher in that I am always aware that my students are valued individuals with their own life experiences. I am willing to listen to them in order to help me to better be able to teach them. I strive to create a safe, comfortable learning environment where my students feel at ease. They should feel like they can take risks and facilitate their own learning. I am fluent in French and I have gained a lot of work experience abroad. I have also obtained a Yoga Teacher Training Certification in India. I feel like my diverse work and travel experience abroad has prepared me to be flexible and adaptable in any challenging situation. I obtained a Bachelors of Arts (Humanities : French and Visual Culture Studies) and an Honours Degree (Translation and Professional Writing, 2016) from the University of Pretoria. I also have my TEFL teaching qualification. I believe that I could be an excellent aid to anyone eager to improve their language skills.

I worked for a team of Realtors at Pam Golding. My duties included preparing mandate packs for meetings, phoning prospecive clients and scheduling meetings / liasing with clients.
Afrikaans tutor
I teach Afrikaans to high school students as well as adult beginners. My duties include grammar lessons as well as conversational practice and cultural introduction..
French Teacher
I worked at a French Summer Camp where I taught an advanced French class everyday for an hour an a half. The teaching was a mix of oral language practice and teaching grammar. I currently teach French online and in person to students of varying ages and levels.
English Language Assistant
My duties included teaching English to French school students aged 13 to 22. In some cases I created my own content and aimed to improve their general knowledge. In others I aided In oral practice and did presentations on specific topics.

I studied French at high school for 5 years. I also obtained my Bachelor's Degree in French from the University of Pretoria. I have furthermore lived and worked in France for two years. This aided me considerablyin not only becoming fluent in French, but also in gaining a true understanding of the language's roots and the French culture as a whole. I am extremely passionate about the French language, Culture and France itself. It gives me great joy to be able to pass on my knowledge to eager learners!

Art
I took Visual Arts as a subject in high school and obtained a distinction in Matric. I have also worked as an artist at Paint Nite where I aided adults of all ages, with no previous art experience, in creating beautiful pieces of art. I have also been comissioned to do murals. I paint regularly and have a great love for visual expression. I believe I could be a big help to any student in need of creative aid or practical guidance.
