I excelled at English in Highschool. I also completed the IEB Advanced English course and am currently studying first-year English at Wits. All of these have equipped me with the tools to manipulate and critically analyse English in both the literary and language aspects. I feel I would be the ideal tutor to pass these skills on.

I am a fluent English speaker and studied English grammar in first year of university. I am also a qualified level 5 TEFL tutor. I have a strong passion for learning and teaching languages. I help students excel by providing them with different learning techniques such as mind maps, flash cards and summaries.

English is a passion of mine, simply because it is a global language, most people can speak it. Once you have the grasp of English, you're already a traveller. There are many easy ways to gain knowledge.

I am able to easily cover topics in English such as Grammar, Language, Sentence structures, writing etc. with you. I am well informed and very knowledgeable about most topics that are covered in the English subject.

I got 86% for English in Matric, and a distinction for Advanced Program English. I also studied English Language and Literature and Film and Media at UCT for a year, and so am further equipped with a tertiary level understanding of the subject.

I have always loved languages and find that it is actually so simple once one just follows all the rules and catches on to the tricky things. It takes times to master languages (as do all subjects), but it can certainly be done. I also got a distinction for English in matric and have some experience with academic writing on varsity level.
