I have enjoyed and performed well in English since high school. It is the gateway language to the world, and I want to assist as many people as possible to appreciate and ace it. English is also one of my teaching subjects within my Bachelor of Education degree. I chose it because I was interested in getting more than a surface level of knowledge in it. I also believe that I will be the best tutor for this because I understand our context as South Africans and therefore am proficient in other languages too. English can form part of our identities as Africans without the exclusion of our other diverse languages.

I’m extremely passionate about English as a language and art form. I’m very knowledgable in all areas of English. I’m working towards being a writer and I love reading English novels and poems. I have consistently achieved high marks for English since primary school and I’m completely fluent and speak English on native level. Once you open your eyes to the beautiful world of English literature and poetry, everything changes. Language shapes how you perceive others’ communication and excelling in language will benefit you throughout your entire life.

I excelled at English in Primary school - an A student Was a B student in highschool and became really good at learning how to ace speeches especially I study linguistics- scientific study of language I read on average a book a week - as it is my hobby to read And I love poetry

I excel in writing Literary Essays. I have a strong understanding of curriculum poems and novels. I am able to correct grammar and spelling errors. And if you have trouble reading English, I can help you to do so because reading is one of my favourite activities.

I am a Bachelor of Education graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand, my majors include English. I am a passionate, hard-working and self motivated individual and I strive to ensure that I go the extra mile, with whatever I am doing to ensure that the best interests of those around me are prioritised. I believe I am innovative and I can easily adapt to strenuous situations.
