I have extensive knowledge in essay writing and English skills, as I have completed an undergraduate in Law and Psychology which involves a thorough understanding and grasp of the English language as well as the need for excellent essay writing techniques.

I am patient, caring and understanding and will go the extra mile to help the student understand the work at hand. If a certain approach to aid in the understanding of the material does not work I will keep trying until I find one that works for the student, I am flexible and adaptable when it comes to methods of teaching.

I have just over 4 years of teaching experience in English. I have specialized in language and literature. I have learners with barrier experience, as mentioned in my natural science introduction, as well as matric high school experience. I truly believe that with a little aid you can improve your English skills in all levels.

I love reading books. I currently work part time at a book store where I spend most of my day reading. I believe English is such an amazing language and I love the idea of teaching English such as literature, reading, writing and vocabulary. I have also enjoyed writing creative essays. In school I enjoyed reading the set work books and bisecting the various themes, characters and symbolism

I have passion for language and enjoy teaching young students English in a fun and dynamic way. I am a first language English speaker. I have studied teaching English for Foundation Phase at university and I have also recently completed my TEFEL 120hr certificate.

English was one of my favorite subjects in high school and I still enjoy reading. I have been raised in an English home. I enjoyed creative writing and I have a very good background when it comes to grammar as well as spelling.

I enjoy reading and mainly enjoyed my set works during high school. I try my best to make even the most mundane tasks seem fun and enjoyable. I am passionate about those who find reading and poetry boring to change their perspective and assist in positive outlooks and outcomes. I believe I have a strong command of the language and enjoyed english as a subject thoroughly during school.

I believe that I am a suitable candidate to tutor English at the high school level because: - I am now a qualified high school English teacher. - I have been an English tutor for five years and thus have extensive experience tutoring this subject. - I am very familiar with the high school English curriculum (GDE and IEB). - I achieved 87% for this subject myself in Matric. - I am passionate about the subject and have a love of literature!
