English is my mother tongue and I am very skilled in languages. I have a vast variety of resources to aid in learning. I have access to current curriculum. I make learning fun and exciting, using a variety of methods that are tailor made to suit your individual needs.

I excelled in this subject from primary school to matric. I love the language, and I have experience in teaching it (been tutoring English with a volunteer programme since February 2018). In addition to this, I have minored in linguistics in my degree - this has taught me how one acquires language, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, and has expanded my knowledge on language rules and structure.

I have four and a half years of experience tutoring English to high school students at different levels and I also hold a Diploma qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). Furthermore, English was always a strong point of mine at school.

Grade 3 - Grade 9 I received distinctions for English, participated in various English competitions, and I partake in advanced level english. I have previously tutored a student English, and raised her mark by 5%. I also have all my previous tests and work in this subject from Grade 5 to Grade 9, which will be helpful for the student to practice and be exposed to different exam type questions.

My home language is English. I have 4 years experience teaching English. I matriculated with a 90% average in English. I have a very good understanding of the language and the primary and high school syllabus.

I believe that I am the best candidate to tutor this subject as I have an impeccable primary and high school academic record regarding my English proficiency. I possess a strong vocabulary which is beneficial as a writing and teaching skill. This is compounded by my deep appreciation of the language.

I have a knack for languages and even though English is my mother tongue, I love learning more about it. It was my favorite subject in school. Be it poetry, vocabulary, reading, creative writing, grammar and punctuation, I enjoy it all. Additionally, I have a TEFL qualification.

I am a graduate electrical engineer with great passion for success, career development and active learning. I have previous work experiences in electrical engineering and safety engineering. Having completed my postgraduate study last year at University of the Witwatersrand I have decided to tutor younger students and others who needed extra help. I am good at mathematics, general mathematics, information technology, sciences and in tutoring. I have good organisational, interpersonal, analytical, communication, problem solving, project management and negotiating skills. I am proactive, creative, energetic, business oriented and I pay attention to details. I also have good information and communication technology skills.

English is my first language. I speak English on a daily basis at home and outside of home. I enjoy languages thus, I find it enjoyable to teach my students English. I also obtained a distinction in matric for English.

I have studied English literature at a University level and am a qualified and experienced English teacher. I hold a PGCE in English first language and taught English to second language speakers for four years. I have a very good knowledge of English literature and grammar and really enjoy teaching this subject. I am also qualified and experienced with teaching English to speakers of other languages.
