I have previous experience teaching similar subjects and I am extremely passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with learners to help them grow or make a difference in their lives. I will try and make each lesson interesing and fun.

English was one of my favourite subjects in high school and as a result, it was one of my majors at University. I also love reading and helping others improve their writing. I believe that with strong language skills, you are more equipped for the world once you finish school.

Languages are one of my strong points and I have a love for it. I have a passion for languages and Afrikaans and English are both my strong points. Both math and religion studies are subjects I choose to teach.

I performed well in the subject in high school and at University it was the core skill to master in order to succeed in the studies. In addition, I practice as an attorney which noble profession requires in-depth degree of understanding in the subject. Plus, I have always had a passion for the language.

I am a high school English teacher and teach all facets of English regularly as part of our curriculum. I teach grade 8 and ten learners. I also engage with the language at a higher level as I am completing my Master's degree in the same field.

My overall comprehension of English is my biggest skill and I bring out the passion in learners. Once learners realize the power of the English language they become the best learners and I make learners aware of the power English holds.

I enjoy English and learning more about it. I'd love to know everything there is to know about English. But as you all you English is a complex language and teaching the core functions of English is a passion to me.

I have enjoyed and performed well in English since high school. It is the gateway language to the world, and I want to assist as many people as possible to appreciate and ace it. English is also one of my teaching subjects within my Bachelor of Education degree. I chose it because I was interested in getting more than a surface level of knowledge in it. I also believe that I will be the best tutor for this because I understand our context as South Africans and therefore am proficient in other languages too. English can form part of our identities as Africans without the exclusion of our other diverse languages.

I achieved a distinction for English when I matriculated (including 100% for a literature essay during my preliminary examinations), won the Wordsmith Prize for writing giving me an affinity and insight into the process, and enjoy literature and research it in my free time. I particularly enjoy short stories and Shakespeare

I grew up speaking English, and it is my mother tongue. I want every child to be confident in the languages they learn and so I try to create a learning experience for them catered to exactly what they need. I have experience in tutoring English to children between the grades of 3-7, and I believe I am the best fit to help your child.
