In 2009, I made it to the final round of the South African Harmony Mathematics Olympiad and was placed in the Top 100 in South Africa. I have both a BSc degree and a MSc degree in electronic engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2017 and 2019 respectively so I have a wealth of Maths knowledge. I achieved a distinction in Mathematics in my matric year. I was a mentor for HAWU and helped high school scholars who wanted to pursue a career in Science by tutoring Mathematics for Grade 10-12. I've been tutoring for the past 3 years with my students increasing their grades by 30-40%

I received 85% for mathematics in matric and I have 3 years of experience in tutoring this subject. I am well versed in all fields of math within those levels and believe any one can be with the right attitude, assistance and work ethic.

I have acquired honours degree in mathematics. I worked in the Department of Applied Mathematics as a student assistant for the first and second year courses. My responsibility was to help students with problems they faced during their weekly tutorial sessions and for marking these problem sets handed in by the students. I also helped them with work they did not understand during lectures.

Good foundation on primary subjects. Languages and theory subjects as well. Prior experience from teaching abroad, as I have a hobby for teaching and enjoy the environment. We use good study methods as well as a follow up programme to ensure students stay up to track.

I have studied mathematics and financial subjects at high school, first degree and master's degree level. My profession is in engineering which requires mathematical understanding and concepts in both technical problems and in financial schedules. I am comfortable to work with spreadsheets and raw data which I can convert or analyse in graphs and other trend analysis. I also have both theoretical and practical experience which allows me to apply the mathematics to real life situations. My communication skills are sound and am a good listener. Learning is an interactive process and I have the patience to allow the student to express their difficulties and I can introduce interventions and strategies to help the student to understand better and also provide additional practice material to reinforce the understanding. By planning time and spending time with the student to go through the content and working through questions, problems and examples repeatedly, the student will grasp the concepts and be able to test themselves and be confident with his or her ability. The student will his or her part of the work during the tutorials and after the tutorials in order to gain confidence and enjoyment in the subject. As the tutor, I will also do my part and make the subject as interesting as possible. I will be available via email for any question after the interactive sessions. For meaningful teaching and learning, the student must prepare for the tutorial and utilize the time to the fullest during the interactive sessions.

Mathematics become second nature the more you practice it. As an engineering student, I have extensively studied and understood most mathematical principles, especially those at a high school level. Allow me to ease the journey of learning for you.

I prefer using practical ideas in the approach to abstract matter. I do believe that learners learn much better by doing too. Linking problems to the outside world makes learning more fun for the learners.

I have a deep understand of the subjects and l am able to assist student understand concepts with easy. My tutoring exprience have help many to achieve their goals.l am good at explaining and assist someone to understand concepts.

I believe with the skills i have gained from University and High School and my marks speak for themselves I did Pre-Culculus In University as an extra subject because i love it so much and i learned so much from those lessons in High school i did well also in maths i believe in a beautiful subject which i have grown into during the years and i can help others do well in the subject also
