Reading and words are a passion for me. I enjoy assisting people to work creatively. I did well with English in High School and got 70% for AS Level English. I am able to work with ideas, planning and structure. Literal and figurative language, use of Metaphors etc.

I am extremely good and passionate about English, both language and literature. I passed the subject well in matric and throughout school. I would really love to teach and help students finding English difficult.

I have good grades in English. I do a lot of science research as well as report writing in my field of study which is Biotechnology (all research and report writing is done in English) and I have achieved good grades in this at university level. I love reading English materials as hobby and also to improve my vocabulary and writing skills.

In my Grade 12 year, I obtained a distinction for English and it has remained one of my favourite subjects to tutor. I have home schooled for English and it is a subject I have tutored students from Grade 3 up to Grade 12. My tutoring skills for this subject cut across English Language, Skills, Literature, Poetry, Grammar, Reading, Writing, Creative and Transactional Writing and Public Speaking. To expand on my English teaching skills, I will be starting with a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) course this year.
