Algebra plays a big part in terms of the engineering I've had to learn so I have a good grasp of the subject matter and am also excited to help others get to grips with it and enjoy it as much as I do.

I've been a Math teacher at an international high school for the past year. The reason you should consider me is because I have a rare ability to help people get rid of their fear of Mathematics. This is because I too had that same fear. In order to get my engineering degree, which I did 10 years after high school, I had to reteach myself the entire high school Math syllabus to be at the same level as the other students. But by figuring it out the hard way, I learned how to make it not only understandable, but relatable, which is why my students are doing so well. That and my animated teaching style make me the ideal tutor.

I have been tutoring maths since I was top of my class in high school, so I have a lot of experience in the field. I continued to help people with maths during and after my studies at Wits. Thus I believe I am strong candidate to help with your mathematics needs.

My passion and enthusiasm for Mathematics supersede all other possible reasons for choosing to be a tutor of this subject. My patient demeanor and diligence ensure adaptation of my tutoring techniques to the individual needs and tempo of every student. Algebra is a subject in Mathematics that I had mastered exceptionally well in high school and I still apply it today in my University course. As someone who is very passionate about all things Math, Algebra is no different. I have been teaching Algebra for 3 years and have gotten great feedback from learners pertaining to how well they understood the concept due to my great communication skills. I help learners understand the concept with illustrative diagrams and simple explanations on how Algebra works and how Algebra can be visualized with graphs. These diagrams help students visualize the beauty of Algebra and how it is applied in the real world. This makes me a brilliant tutor for this subject and it has been proven to very helpful.

I understand mathematics better and faster. it will be easier for me to tutor mathematics because I don't really need much time to prepare for it, it will also help me to balance with my electrical engineering work. I just like to keep myself busy.

I have successfully completed multiple varisty-level mathematics modules, many which are based on algebra and the application thereof. Furthermore, as my studies suggest, I have an interest for mathematics and the challenges therein.

Studying finance means that you're almost always going to be dealing with numbers and figures, let alone the complex mathematics that follows them. Since grade 8, I have always been a fan of mathematics, because it was something I could either understand and grasp right away, or be left in awe and satisfaction when I finally did figure out how something worked. I understand that a lot of people really struggle to grasp certain, if not most of, the complex concepts, and that is why I decided I would use my talent to help other people understand.

I love algebra, and have taken it through to college! I think Algebra is the basis of understanding all maths, and being able to fully understand and feel more confident about maths as a whole. I am able to teach maths in many ways, if it’s needed with visuals or repetition.
