This is the study of data cleaning, preprocessing, mining, exploration, analytics and more. The focus of this study is to encoporate modern day tools into various work environment to make work flows much more comprehensive.
BSc (ENG) Metallurgy and Materials science - University of the witwatersrand
This is the study of mineral extraction and processing. The primary focus is on metals although non metals are included. Given an mineral ore directly from the mine, it is the duty of a metallurgist to oversee that the mineral is extract from its host rock and processed until it meets the requirements of a secondary user.

Physical Science
