Algebra tutors in Pretoria

I have spent the last two years tutoring students in algebra. This experience combined with my own years spent mastering this subject at school gave me sufficient skills to tutor this module to students. Through the years I a discovered certain methods and tricks to better understand algebra which I would like to share with my students.

I have a great deal of experience tutoring students in this subject at the University of Pretoria and the surrounding High schools. Mathematics is my strong point and I love to help students to unlock their potential.

I have previous experience teaching similar subjects and I am extremely passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with learners to help them grow or make a difference in their lives. I will try and make each lesson interesing and fun.

This was always my favorite subject in school and I often got distinctions for it. I think it can be made fun and even easy for anyone struggling with the concepts. It needs to not just be learnt, but understood and applied. I would love to help you start that journey.

Of all the parts of Maths, this is the part I enjoyed the most. Algebra, to me, is pure, disciplined and universal. Whilst I struggled to get the basics under the knee in primary school, once I got the hang of it, Algebra became my strength when preparing for exams.

I had to pass WTW 164 and WTW 158 at University and they both are really Algebra intense. Solving problems and giving them solutions is quite exiting for me and feel that i can truly transfer the passions i have for numbers

Apart from having 2 years' experience tutoring Mathematics to high school students on a one-to-one basis, I have passed Calculus, Linear Algebra, Financial Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics at university level. As such I not only have a good grasp of the fundamentals of Algebra, but also of the different branches of Mathematics where it is applied.

I was the top performing mathematics student in during my high school years. I achieved an 88% in mathematics for my final matric results. In addition, I am in my final year in the BSc Actuarial Sciences degree so I am exposed to algebra regularly.

Mathematics was my strongest subject in school and after undergoing intense algebraic subjects in university, my knowledge of the foundations of the subject which are taught in school are proficient. I find it easy to explain mathematical concepts such that it is easy for the student to grasp.
