I am passionate and patient, I believe these characteristics will come in handy since Mathematics requires a lot of patience. I have realized that a lot of learners have the misconception that Mathematics is hard so I believe that I can change the mindsets of the learners by teaching them mathematics in the best possible and fun way. I know that no two learners learn the same so it is important to explore the learning style that each learner possess and then teach them in a way that is suited to their learning style. I am very well aware of the different teaching styles and how to put each style in to motion. A great teacher should possess both content knowledge and pedagogical knowledge and I believe that I possess those.

Mathematics was my strongest subject in school and after undergoing intense algebraic subjects in university, my knowledge of the foundations of the subject which are taught in school are proficient. I find it easy to explain mathematical concepts such that it is easy for the student to grasp.

Algebra is a concept that I grasp really well, most of the logic that I use when programming requires allot of Algebra and algebraic expressions. I do have experience with tutoring algebra, the best way to learn is to practice

I enjoy problem-solving within a set of restrictions. Algebra is exactly this, finding solutions through manipulating the problem at hand (these manipulations being governed by a fixed set of rules and restrictions). Algebra is the basis for many math-based fields and it is therefore important to understand the concepts abstractly so that they can be applied whenever necessary. Algebra is one of my favorite topics in Mathematics. I enjoyed it irrespective of which algebra it was. I even did my Honours project in the field Abstract Algebra. All my algebra modules I really excelled in them with 3/4 distinctions.
