I believe that throughout my studies I have done very well in he subject, however, I am able to help learner build on their knowledge in the skills of English. As a multilingual person, I know the struggles of the language and I have empathy to those who are struggling. I believe I can help them love the subject and start improving.

I achieve extremely good marks for English and have comprehensive notes as well as an understanding of and on various topics ranging from the simple different nouns to the high school poetry. I speak English at home and am able to help with homework, preparing orals, research tasks, essays, poetry as well as studying. I enjoy reading. I believe I am capable of helping fellow students achieve their English goals.

I have a passion for teaching English. Many people can speak and understand the language, but use incorrect tenses, struggle to compose logical and coherent sentences, are not on the reading level they should be and battle with spelling and grammar. I enjoy helping people have a better understanding of the language.

I try and create student specific methods to help cater for each individuals learning ability. I have both a BA degree in English as well as a teaching post graduate certificate (PGCE). I am a young and enthusiastic teacher willing to go the extra mile for learners.

English language has always been both a talent and passion of mine. I achieved well in my final Cambridge AS level examination, and continue to in university modules such as history and sociology. Both of these require good reading, comprehension and writing skills for the essay submissions. I have maintained a 70% and above average throughout the semester, much of which I believe is due to the skills I learnt in high school.

Beisdes having quite a bit of experience tutoring and teaching in various situations I am Tefl qualified Level 5. I have a proclivity to delever my best and to uphold the standards that my company expects from me. Punctuality is very important as well as making the lessons enjoyable and inspirational for my students. To respect and be aware of the individuality of every student I am privvy to tutor.

I enjoyed English during my school years and still do as I am partaking in teaching children from my community with English skills and also volunteer at my Alma mater to assist with extra classes. I enjoy English as a language itself, literature and writing, reading and vocabulary and I believe that I would be able to teach students vital skills, ensure that they do better and understand it extensively so that they can pass well as I am confident, have the patience to teach students, believe in my student's capabilities and have the critical and lateral thinking skills to do the task.

I have 6 years experience in this subject. I have mastered a few skills over the years on different ways to approach each learner accordingly and to meet them at their desired level. I have experience in a variety of methods to achieve success during each lesson. I have completed a 150 hour TEFL course and have international experience in teaching English as an foreign language.

I obtained an 80% mark for the English subject in matric and I thoroughly enjoyed the subject. I will be able to encourage the student to think outside the box but yet have a structured approach to the subject. I will be able to go through the literature content with the student and encourage them to creatively and critically think about the set work. I will be able to improve the vocabulary of the student through suggested reading materials and activities. This will in turn improve the writing and grammar skills.

For all of the above mentioned subjects I have obtained >80% in matric. I have a passion in learning and teaching using creative methods and study techniques. I never give up and I motivate others to endure.
