I am very passionate about teaching and learning. I have completed my Degree and Honours in Psycholgy and I have applied for a Masters in Psychology. I also have a PGCE in Foundation Phase and I have been teaching grade 2 for the past 5 years.

I teach a grade 2 class. I teach English, Afrikaans, Basic isiXhosa, Maths and Life Skills. In addition to teaching I am also on the SBST committee which caters to kids with difficulties in their home lives, learning disabilities or behavioural problems. I co-ordinate the EGRA program at our school, it is an early grade reading program. I am also the cross-country co-ordinator as well as on the sports committee.

I completed my Honours in Psychology in 2014.

I have a passion for English. It is imperative that in addition to speaking the language one should be able to write in a logical and fluent manner. I have a very good understanding of the language, especially in written form.

I have a passion for teaching English. Many people can speak and understand the language, but use incorrect tenses, struggle to compose logical and coherent sentences, are not on the reading level they should be and battle with spelling and grammar. I enjoy helping people have a better understanding of the language.
