I am a second year psychology and law major at the University of Cape Town. I have a passion for learning, traveling and cooking. In the past three years, I have travelled to over forty cities and tutored a variety of talented and interesting students. Tutoring has by far been the most incredible work experience; it is something that I will take with me throughout life. I have been placed on the Dean's List (2019), as well as invited to the Golden Key International Society (2020) for placing within the top 15% of my course. Through the use of my experience, and the knowledge am I acquiring while completing my degree, I hope to best assist you in preparing for your future.

Throughout the three years after matriculating, I worked as an au-pair and a tutor. I worked with children from all backgrounds and academic levels. One was a leukemia patient which required lessons from home, as his treatment prohibited him from attending school. We worked for the duration of a year in order to prepare him for his grade 7 English and mathematics' exam. Furthermore, I've tutored numerous students from Cambridge, CAPS and IEB schools. Last year, I traveled to Spain for six weeks to tutor a grade 10 student. Throughout lockdown, I have been tutoring siblings (aged 5 and 7) according to the British Curriculum. Moreover, I tutor a 3 year old. Our focus is on harnessing spatial awareness skills, as well as working with numbers and counting through play.
I am in my second year of a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in law and psychology. Following the competition of my final year, I hope to enrol in a Honours degree in psychology.
Mathematics is the subject in which I have most experience. I am well trained in grades 1-9, across CAPS, IEB and Cambridge. I understand the task that is math, due to the fact that I once struggled. Once I began receiving tutorials and I started understanding the subject, I fell in love with it.

English language has always been both a talent and passion of mine. I achieved well in my final Cambridge AS level examination, and continue to in university modules such as history and sociology. Both of these require good reading, comprehension and writing skills for the essay submissions. I have maintained a 70% and above average throughout the semester, much of which I believe is due to the skills I learnt in high school.
