I have studied for 4 years and have a cum Laude degree from Stellenbosch university I have 7 years of teaching experience in foundation phase. (Grades R-3) I have an absolute passion for teaching little ones. I can help with any foundation phase subject ( English Home Language- reading, writing, phonics, comprehension etc Mathematics, Afrikaans First additional Language)

English was my favorite subject at school! I loved writing essays, in fact, I didn’t get below a 90% for any of mine in matric! I took both Core and AP English and loved both. I’m an avid reader and writer, which gives me a huge advantage in teaching literature skills. I learnt some great tips during high school from some amazing teachers. I’d love to share them with you, along with some fantastic notes!

I was top of my class in English throughout my high school career. I am good with reading, writing as well as literature and vocabulary.

I understand that learning a new language often has many challenges. As a tutor I have a passion to help you succeed. My extensive teaching experience has molded me into a highly effective but intuitive coach. I have perfected my skill and employ proven teaching techniques and learning methods. My prowess has resulted in many students enjoying success in the their endeavour to learn English.

English was not only my best subject in high school, but also my favourite. I graduated with 90% on IEB level in matric. Thereafter, I did a pre-medical course which was conducted in English. This course broadened my knowledge, but also cofirmed my love for the English language. To substantiate this point, I have a strong aptitude for languages and I will study in English. Thus, it is clear that I will be able to help students learn the language of the world!

I took a TEFL course in English for 120 hours which basically covered all the basics and requirements of teaching English. I was also taught how to implement it with children from grade R to adults wanting to learn English. Hence I now believe I have gathered enough skills to teach English to anyone even those that do not speak any English at all.

I think English is a special, universal language that has so much to offer and I really enjoy teaching it. I make my lessons fun and I’m flexible with times. Plus, I come with references! Whatever you need help with - spelling, grammar, conversational English - I know I can help!

I received 90% for this subject in highschool and I am a part time writer and avid reader! I love language and expression and I can make anyone fall inlove with it too! I intend on writing a bestseller one day and you could too!

English is a challenging and interesting language which can be so fun to explore! I love the different aspects of the language, being literature, language, verbal or written. I am competent in teaching this subject from early learning right through to adult literacy

I also enjoy working with children where many fun teaching methods can be used to get them to learn since they are at their peak development state. Creating a enriching environment allows for children to pick up many new skills, words and actions faster. I
