Hi there I am a BCOM Financial Accounting(NQF level 7) graduate from the University of Cape Town(UCT) with 3 years trainee accountant articles experience. I did my training at the Auditor General of South Africa. During my training, I also obtained a NQF Level 8 qualification (Final Qualifying Exam-Registered Government Auditor). I would like to qualify as a Chartered Accountant and therefore I am currently studying via UNISA. I have experience in tutoring through volunteer work that I have done. This all began when I started helping friends with out homework, then I joined organisations such as UBUNYE and SHAWCO at the UCT and formed a group with colleagues to go tutor students at a school. I can make complicated principles seem simple and I like to focus on the individuals needs so we can both maximise our time together. I am friendly, organised and I have a strong desire to help where I can.

Pure Maths
I obtained a matric mark of 86% for the subject. I absolutely enjoy mathematics such that my levels of enjoyment are contagious. I will be able to making learning fun and enjoyable and will be able to tutor in such a way that the material will remain in the students memory for a long period of time. I will encourage practice, practice, practice with this particular subject as I believe that is the ultimate way to derive success. I used to help my friends with our maths homework and the sessions went so well that all our marks improved dramatically and to this day they are still so greatful.

Financial Accounting
I have a BCOM Financial Accounting degree(GAS) and I am currently doing 3rd year of the SAICA accredited degree. I also have 3 years experience as a Trainee Accountant. Part of the job criteria was to mentor and coach junior staff. I spent a great deal of my training years tutoring colleagues on accounting principles. I obtained a matric mark of 82% in Accounting I can explain principles well, I can give insight on the next level so as to continuously improve the knowledge of the student, I am well organised and I have a strong desire and capability to help people achieve their greatest potential.

I obtained an 80% mark for the English subject in matric and I thoroughly enjoyed the subject. I will be able to encourage the student to think outside the box but yet have a structured approach to the subject. I will be able to go through the literature content with the student and encourage them to creatively and critically think about the set work. I will be able to improve the vocabulary of the student through suggested reading materials and activities. This will in turn improve the writing and grammar skills.
