Hi All I am a person that is very passionate about teaching. I had my own struggles in school and university and learnt how to seek help and mentorship from others. During school I completed Cambridge A-levels and went on to study Electrical Engineering at Wits university and completed my studies in record time. I have had several tutors in my experience that helped me get through the most difficult times. I am looking for an opportunity to give back become a brilliant tutor as I know the role tutoring and helping others has played in my life. I enjoy scientific subjects such as Maths, Physics, Chemistry. I believe I will make a great tutor and I love relaying knowledge over to the next person.

I am Mia Hyslop and I am a qualified mathematics teacher. I have my Bsc Honours in Mathematics education from Wits University and I have been teaching for 5 years now. I loved mathematics at school as it was the only subject that was not affected by my learning difficulty. Due to this, I became interested in how people learn and want to assist learners to achieve their best under challenging circumstances. I am a patient teacher. I always try to get my learners to understand the mathematical concept rather than learning it off by heart. This is more time consuming but I have found it to be beneficial in the long run.

My name is Tadiwanashe (but you may call me Tiwa or Tadi) and I am a 27 year old female working as an Environmental Scientist. I am super passionate about the environment, hence my career choice. My highest qualification is a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the University of the Witwatersrand. I am also passionate about learning and sharing knowledge which is why I have been teaching and tutoring for 5 years across various disciplines. My favourite subjects to tutor include Geography / Environmental Studies, English, Life Orientation, Natural Science, Social Science and Study Skills. I am a kind, friendly, well-spoken and adaptable lady that focuses on highlighting students' strengths while also advancing their weaknesses. Moreover, I am patient and always happy to speak through concepts to the satisfaction and comfort of my students. Currently, I am a Chemistry & Physics double major at the University of South Africa. I am also full-time employed at the moment as Head of Corporate Finance at JJT Chartered Accountants & Registered Auditors. My goal is to supply quality education to High School students both online and after the pandemic in person. I also participate in Research assistance at the University and conduct original research at Kolabtree. I plan on obtaining my Ph.D. in Astrophysics at the University of South Africa. I have 21 years’ teaching, lecturing & training experience in various learning institutions & training companies. Working with different Institutions and Companies enabled me to develop a clear, logical & analytical mind with a practical approach to creative problem solving & a drive to see ad hoc duties through to completion in a professional manner. I possess excellent skills in teaching, training, communication, time management, organization, presentation, report writing, data analysis & computer applications. Hi My name is Bonine, I am currently studying to be a teacher through UNISA. I work at a school in Edenvale as an intern, full-time, but I am also part of the sports department. I am fun, friendly, energetic, passionate and very patient. I don't give up and always push others to reach their full potential. I have a very natural way about me and love children. Before I started working at the school, I was a swimming instructor for 5 years, so I have been working with children for a long time. I do prefer to work with children from the ages of 4 years old to 12 years old and enjoy teaching English, Afrikaans and lower grade Maths. I am very supportive and will always support you.
