My name is Tadiwanashe (but you may call me Tiwa or Tadi) and I am a 27 year old female working as an Environmental Scientist. I am super passionate about the environment, hence my career choice. My highest qualification is a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the University of the Witwatersrand. I am also passionate about learning and sharing knowledge which is why I have been teaching and tutoring for 5 years across various disciplines. My favourite subjects to tutor include Geography / Environmental Studies, English, Life Orientation, Natural Science, Social Science and Study Skills. I am a kind, friendly, well-spoken and adaptable lady that focuses on highlighting students' strengths while also advancing their weaknesses. Moreover, I am patient and always happy to speak through concepts to the satisfaction and comfort of my students. In addition I promote a good working relationship with students through an open door policy ensuring that they are comfortable to ask questions and express themselves.

I have tutored primary, secondary and tertiary students since 2015 to present. Subjects tutored include English (First and Second Language), Geography, Biology, Environmental Science and Health Science. I have also home schooled a high school student for English and Life Orientation. Syllabus: Independent Education Board and Department of Basic Education Assigned Tasks: Assist students with Geography, English, Life Orientation and Biology / Natural Science, preparation of homework and exercises, marking of exams and tests.

I would be the best tutor for Geography because it is the core element in my current career as an Environmental Scientist and I did this subject throughout University until Honours. I also matriculated with an exceptional Geography mark. My extended time doing Geography as a university subject and in my career has given me in-depth understanding of the subject as a whole. I am able to explain and breakdown concepts with ease in a manner that can be easily understood.

In my Grade 12 year, I obtained a distinction for English and it has remained one of my favourite subjects to tutor. I have home schooled for English and it is a subject I have tutored students from Grade 3 up to Grade 12. My tutoring skills for this subject cut across English Language, Skills, Literature, Poetry, Grammar, Reading, Writing, Creative and Transactional Writing and Public Speaking. To expand on my English teaching skills, I will be starting with a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) course this year.
