I am a 22 year old Masters student at the University of Pretoria. I live in Bailey's Muckleneuk and I would love to help with any school subjects. Maths and English are my favourites, especially maths for matric and grade 11 level. I have a pretty flexible schedule and will be able to see/interact with my students often. I am currently a third year chemical engineering student at the University of Pretoria. I reside in a residence on campus named Huis Jasmyn but originally come from a very small town in the Freestate called Clarens. I currently have spare time on my hands and would love to spend it helping others. I have been in a residence since I started high school and have always helped my friends with whatever maths and science they struggled with. I have served on our residences committee and have been a mentor at Huis Jasmyn for the last two years-I have thoroughly enjoyed helping people and assisting them with overcoming obstacles that they thought they would never overcome. At school I was privileged enough to have very passionate maths and science teachers and would love to give the passion and support that the gave to me to someone else, because without the support and encouragement that I was shown I would have not been where and am today and would have not achieved the marks that I did in matric.

I am Bianca Wilma van der Merwe and I am passionate and hard working individual. My passion is Accounting. I enjoy to educate and tutor students to make them understand Accounting on their level. I go the extra mile of preparing notes and summaries of each section. I have received a reward from Ekurhuleni North District for the best leaner in Business Studies during the 2015 National Senior Certificate Examination. I have also studied the ICB course through the Academy of Commerce and Accounting and completed my Diploma in Financial Accounting in 2018. I have also gained experience in lecturing ICB subjects at my college (Financial statements, Payroll and monthly SARS, Bookkeeping to Trial Balance, Business Literacy- The math section) and also tutored Accounting to Grade 10 and 11 pupils. I also have 2 years experience in an Accounting firm, but as tutoring and lecturing is my passion I decided to commit to it in full and want to futher my career in it.

I am a Graduate from Wits University with a BSc in Applied Maths and Economics. I have been tutoring for 4 years now and I love seeing a student improve and learn more. I have tutored maths across all grades. From primary to high school.

I am a Montessori Directress for 3-6 year olds and am currently doing the 6-9 year old course. I am passionate and would love to help others in learning English and Maths. I love to help people and eager to give as much information to a student in order for them to achieve their goals.

HI, my name is Kerry. I am a 30 year old B.ed student. I am teaching at a learning centre and absolutely love it. I have 8 years tutoring experience from grade 1-12. Im fun, hard working, honest and reliable, I have alot of patience and im willing to go the extra mile for anyone, after all education is the most important tool a child can use. I believe in setting goals and achieving them as well as to be proactive in learning to understand, rather than just working through the work. I have experience with IEB, CAPS and Cambridge. With the vast amount of knowledge that I have gained and learned over the years I'd love to share it with learners who would benefit and carry these with them through to adulthood. I love teaching learners various skills which help them to study- not one child is a like and it's always great to be able to share these different techniques.

I believe that education is a key necessity in the 21st century, hence why I enjoy learning so much. However, I want to encourage others to learn through effective.pedagogical practices and create a meaningful learning experience. I believe that individuals with access to good quality education would be likely to achieve great success in the future. I am a huge believer in building a relationship between teachers and students as both are collegially working towards enhancing the learning of a student. I aim to provide a safe and supportive environment where my students are comfortable engaging in discussions and expressing their opinions. My goal is to initiate an interest in learning in the student's mindset and to associate positivity with learning.

I am a University-trained Ethnomusicologist and African Drumming instructor holding a BMus music degree from the University of Pretoria. Additionally, I am a qualified rhythm and sound therapist. I have 15 years’ experience in teaching music for ages 2 years up to 60 years of age focusing on individuals with and without learning disabilities. Currently I have my own practice where I use the African drum as an educational, developmental and therapeutic tool. I enjoy working with and developing people of all ages and have lots of knowledge and experience which I can share. I have worked with children and adults with many a learning disability including ADHD, Autism, Language, Communication and Motor disabilities, Sensory Integration difficulties and Hearing Impairment. I have also worked alongside Occupational and Speech therapists as well as Educational Psychologists and continue to work together with them in order to give the best to the clients seeking help. In my time that I taught at schools I regularly had to use the medium of music to assist children in learning subjects such as Maths and Language so I have a well applied general knowledge in how to use music as an overall developmental tool.

I am a high-achieving person who loves helping others through tutoring. I spend my free time volunteering, hiking, and watching documentaries. I am currently in my second year of a Bcom Accounting Sciences at the University of Pretoria on an academic scholarship awarded for academic merit.I always make sure I see things from the learner's perspective so I can teach and explain things in ways they understand. I love helping people not just improve their marks, but feel more confident in themselves.

I am currently a third year BA student triple majoring in Psychology, English and Criminology at the University of Pretoria. In my free time I volunteer with a volunteering program called Psyche society. I am a fine artist as a hobby and I specialise in oil painting, draftsman work and soft pastels. I have previous work experience as a researcher for Cornerstone Performance Solutions - a company that specialises in developing learning programs for bank managers during the Fourth Industrial Revolution. I have a passion for learning and artistic expression and I hope to inspire other students to keep adapting and learning new skills throughout their school career and even beyond. My other interests include journalism, diving and photography.
