I am an outgoing and bubbly individual with a keen passion for teaching and I am currently studying towards my PGCE in order to become a full time teacher. I have been teaching my whole life whether it was helping out my little sister with her homework to formal tutoring undertaken during my varsity years. I graduated both my degree and honours with distinction and want to use the knowledge I have gained to help other people. I am really interested in being challenged in terms of finding out new and interesting ways to explain concepts to students until they understand it. I am a dedicated and patient individual. If I undertake a tutoring job my ultimate aim will be to pass on the knowledge I have gained in my studies and through my experience in order to assist the student in understanding their work and passing their tests. When I tutor it is extremely important to me to create an open environment where no question is viewed as "stupid", in fact one will find that "stupid" questions are far more common than not and I want my students to feel that I have created a safe place for them to ask ANY and ALL questions to which I will answer to the best of my ability. I do not profess to know everything but what I can do is learn the answer to any question and make sure I teach the student that answer. My goal as your tutor is to help you pass your subject no matter what that takes, and I will keep trying and changing my methods, techniques and examples until that goal is achieved. I am a BSc Chemistry graduate who has worked as a first year Organic and Inorganic Chemistry tutor for first year students. I have worked as a Lab analyst for over 4 years. I am currently enrolled as an Honors student in Environmental Management and also working for a pharmaceutical company. I have previously volunteered at a local high school and assisted Maths and Physical science learners from Grade 10 to Grade 12.

Hello :) I am a graduate from NWU potch campus and will soon be one of UP. I have extensive tutoring experience that I gained throughout my uni career, I volunteered as a math and science tutor for an Afternoon program that aimed to assist underprivileged students with their homework. I was also appointed by the uni as a demonstrator (to lecture a practical component of a Human Physiology module). Finally I was a writing consultant at the North-west University , there I assisted students with their academic writing skills using an online platform as well as in one on one contact sessions.

I have recently completed my chartered accounting articles and I am eligible to be registered as a CA(SA). I have produced excellent results in accounting in high school and university. I am down to earth and I find it easy to relate to students. I love finding easy and fun ways for students to learn any concept in accounting.

Hi, I am 23 and am currently completing my BA (Hons) in Psychological Counselling through UNISA. Last year (2019) I completed my BA Psychology & English (Linguistics) degree through Pearson Institute of Higher Education. I also completed two practical training courses and now volunteer as a lay-counsellor for an NPO and work mostly with individuals who live in informal settlements. My practical work has taught me many skills involved in working with people on an individual level where it is necessary to be warm, caring, empathic, and genuine. I have a great love for my field of study and hope that others can benefit from it as much as I have. I have about 4 years of experience as an au pair at high school level and thus have experience in assisting with academic assignments and studying for tests.
