I did very well in school and I took algebra and statistics for both my degrees. I recently (this year) tutored a grade 4 pupil who was achieving 40% after 1 month with me she now achieves 70% and above.

I am comfortable and familiar with the field of mathematics and hope to help you find the same level of confidence with the subject. I will place a focus on the concepts and understanding these concepts over simply parrot-learning formulae so that the concepts can be effictively applied.

I have extensive experience as a math tutor aligned with great academic excellence and skill that l acquired in my carreer within this field. My involvement in undergraduate engineering course presentations, mentorship and tutorship with various institutions has also provided me with excellent presentation and communication skills that allow me to express my ideas clearly and concisely in a technical way that allows easy communication between people of different professional backgrounds.

I enjoy working with numbers and figuring out complex equations. I am a very good problem solver. I hope to make math more enjoyable for students and help them overcome any fears and/or anxiety based on stereotypes surrounding the mathematics field.

I excelled at Maths in high school (89% for matric finals) as well as in my first two years at university. It is also a subject that many find difficult and I am very keen on helping those who do as Maths forms the fundamentals of almost everything in both tertiary studies and the working world.

It is important that children understand in their own way the basics of mathematics. Not every chid learn the same way in the classroom and I believe maths is a subject that children need to understand in their own way.

I love Math. It enriches me when I get to explain a topic to a student and I can see that she/he snapped it. That "the light went on" moments make me happy. I agree that I do not know everything, but I give my all into a topic and will do my utmost best to give insight and help.

I have been a Mathematics tutor since 2015. I have achieved a mark of 81% for Pure Mathematics when I completed my AS-Levels. I also achieved a mark of 93% and 83% for WTW 158 and WTW 164 respectively. These are two first-year Calculus modules.

I have experience teaching Math to Primary School learners and did well in High School Mathematics. I am patient and try to teach from different perspectives as people sometimes understand the same concept different.
