I am currently studying Biomedical Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand. It is a unique undergraduate degree that combines the analytical and mathematical aspects of electrical engineering with the intimate and extensive knowledge of medicine. A full understanding of electrical systems with a complementary proficiency in biological and medical processes that allows for the amalgamation of complex, biomedical-related matters. Utilizing my skills to give back to my community and country is of vital significance to me. Having accomplished several community service projects in high school and having a keen interest in pursuing a career in medicine following my studies in Biomedical Engineering, it is in my best hopes to be able to help tutor high school students with the aim of encouraging an understanding and appreciation for the work that the are studying.

Currently completed my 2nd year of study in Biomedical Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand.
Achieved distinctions in: Mathematics, English, Afrikaans, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, History & Life Orientation with a 75% in Advanced Programme Mathematics.
I excelled at Maths in high school (89% for matric finals) as well as in my first two years at university. It is also a subject that many find difficult and I am very keen on helping those who do as Maths forms the fundamentals of almost everything in both tertiary studies and the working world.
