I am an experienced Foundation Phase teacher with knowledge of both the CAPS and Singapore curriculum. I have worked with both mainstream and remedial learners on various Numeracy concepts and have various strategies and tools to share with others.

I have several years experience tutoring high school and primary school students in Maths with significant results. I have seen results from students who were bound to fail passing and achieving university acceptance to students wanting an distinction and actually obtaining their goal.

I tend to understand the work and have the ability to teach it or convey the message in a way that a young child understands... This leads to growth in knowledge and confidence in the work. Maths needs alot of time to ace

I achieved 92% for Core Mathematics at IEB Matric level, and 81% for AP Mathematics as IEB Matric Level. My maths skill is very high, and I can communicate with young people very effectively. I feel I can get through to students and younger people at a one-on-one level.

Mathematics was my favourite subject in school and I have studied and used statistics throughout my university career. I help students excel by providing them with different learning techniques such as mind maps, flash cards and summaries. I also like to use hands-on activities (such as counting buttons) to help practice maths as well as visual images.

I have past experience with tutoring children from Grade 1-12 in mathematics. I have been tutoring math to children for many years now. I did exceptionally well in mathematics in Matric, receiving 89%.

I will be the best tutor for this subject because I have experience in assisting students in Mathematics. I am patient and willing to assist students improve their mathematics and help students understand any areas that they are struggling with.

After studying second year maths at UJ, I learnt a lot of mathematical principals that i would have liked to have known in high school. These are thing i would like to teach to my students at give them an advantage.

It is one of my best subjects. I love maths because it is being used in our everyday activities. Maths is fun to teach and easy to understand once one gets the rules right. It does not require lot of reading but practising and applying the rules acquired.

I was the top student in Mathematics during my high school days. I believe mathematics comes natural to me and my ability to explain concepts clearly enables students to understand better. I have more than 5 years experience doing face to face tutoring which resulted in the students passing.
